Abilities
Mr. Barker has designed HVAC systems which range from Split DX Units to 4-Pipe Unit Ventilators to VAV and Fan Powered Box Systems. His design experience includes air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers with cooling towers, water source heat pumps and hydronic boilers. Mr. Barker also has extensive experience in designing Direct Digital Control Systems, which include designs for CO2 demand-based ventilation. He has designed specialty HVAC systems such as Bio-Safety Level II and Level III labs which included carbon filtered radioactive isotope exhaust, specialized air purification for vivariums, chemical fume hood systems and a paraformaldehyde gassing chamber for non-destructive decontamination. Mr. Barker has also been responsible for the design of the HVAC systems for various schools, offices, museums, research labs, dental labs, medical clinics, dental clinics, and dormitories.

He has designed plumbing systems for hospitals, restaurants, condominiums, and dormitories. His experience includes laboratory systems of acid waste, reverse osmosis systems and de-ionized water systems. He has also designed bus washing systems, water recycling systems, and oil distribution systems for buses and cars.

Mr. Barker’s electrical design experience includes 2000 amp service entrances for new construction inclusive of coordination with Energy Providers such as CPS. He has also designed specialty lighting systems for churches and conference rooms. In addition, he has designed specialty (UPS) power distribution systems for large Server Rooms and for industrial applications such as Air Force Maintenance Facilities.
